Sleepy Time Tea

During my 'down time' earlier this year, I had a lot of time to research and plan for the garden. Blessings in disguise, I guess. One of the things on my list is to grow plants for Shoshanna's Sleep Tight Tea.

I purchased chamomile, lemon balm, and catnip plants in early spring. The only herb I'd end up having to purchase would be the passion flower....that is....until our black cat, Seven, found the pot of catnip. That's him above, sleeping all curled up on top of the pot of catnip after a binge. It would seem that the key ingredient to Sleep Tight Tea is the catnip.

Oh well....

Enjoy the day-

  1. Hi. I just stumbled upon your blog and it's the weirdest thing... I have a blog called A Life Enchanted about living a green, natural, healthy lifestyle. I also have a black cat.... his name is Sixx! =] I just thought it a funny coincidence.

    1. That is too funny! Our Seven happens to be number 7. His name was suppose to be Delilah...but no, he turned out to be a boy. He is a funny cat. I'm checking out your blog!

  2. It really is funny. I also live in New England. I'm in The Shire (NH).... AND my friends have called me Wonder Woman for years because I use to be a body builder and tend to think I'm invincible and can do it all. :) They bought be tons of WW stuff like magnets, t-shirts, sweatshirts. I actually laughed out loud just now when I came back to see if you had responded and it said "Wonderwoman". So many coincidences. I had to share. Sixx was named after Nikki Sixx of Motely Crue. It sounds so 80's white trash I know! It's a long story.
