The Thanksgiving favors were a hit, but mostly with my brothers number 2 daughter. She took home a whole handful of them. She is 4 and a collector of things - it doesn't seem to matter except it has to be something that she can fit a whole lot of in her hand at one time. When the chickens molted - it was feathers! When it was lake swimming weather - it was clam shells!
One of the dining tables. We were able to seat 18 this year.
The Taj Mahal of Chicken coops - by Superman
This door is much nicer than the front door of our house. The chickens will just love it and I figure about now they are worth about $100 per pound. Nothing is too good for those girls! - (sarcasm) - They've got their heat lamp on right now outside in their metal coop which soon will be our storage shed when they make the move to their new pad. Today was very cold, damp, and yucky with some hail and freezing rain...so the heat lamp will dry them off.
While the men were installing the new door, Little T., myself and the Barbies did some more raking. I think the leaves are being imported because they never seem to end! I look around at the yards in our neighborhood and they look pristine - no leaves - no debris....oh well!
